Austin began his journey with Financial Planning Alternatives as a senior in high school, joining the team as an intern during a significant period of transition for the firm. He was entrusted with key responsibilities, including onboarding new and existing client information into our internal systems. A major part of his role involved ensuring the secure and accurate transfer of sensitive client data to our new broker-dealer, a process that required strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Beyond assisting with the broker-dealer transition, Austin also took on the challenge of modernizing our document management practices. He helped shift our operations from a traditional, paper-based filing system to a streamlined digital CRM platform. This not only improved accessibility and organization but also supported the firm’s goal of improving overall efficiency.

Now, as a college sophomore pursuing a double major in Economics and Finance, Austin has had the fortune of being invited back for his fall semester, bringing a deeper understanding of financial principles and a more analytical mindset to the work he does. Austin’s academic experience has allowed him to take a more active role in supporting the financial well-being of both our clients and the firm. He is excited to keep building on this foundation as he grows personally and professionally in the financial planning industry.
